How Far Along: 26 Weeks
Total Weight Gain: 31.1 pounds
Size of Baby: Kale, butternut squash
Maternity Clothes: Mix of maternity and Lularoe still
Sleep: Better this week!
Food Cravings: Cheese-Its!
Food Aversions: Still healthy stuff still doesn't sound good - but I force it down!
Gender: Girl :)
Symptoms: Having to pee ALL the time! Probably doesn't help that I drink a ton of water throughout the day, but I have to track people down in the hallway to watch my kiddos while I go use the bathroom :)
Milestones: I've officially been pregnant for half a year! Crazy!
Movement: Moving and a grooving at night!
Best moment of the week: Baby girl's onesie came for when she arrives, no changing her name now! ;) We also ordered the fabric for her bed skirt and window treatments!
Looking forward to: Sleeping in this weekend! Working three days in a row is hard work! This hasn't happened since before Christmas with all our snow days! Ha!
Extra Notes:
Friday I had my glucose test. I was pretty worried about the 'orange drink' as I'd heard so many different reactions to it - it being the nastiest thing ever, it not being to bad, etc. I found it to not be bad at all, it just tasted like an extra sugary orange pop. And, I never heard from the doctor on Monday which they said no news is good news so that means I passed! Hooray!
My kiddos are all about baby - during rest time on Monday I felt baby girl moving. I called over one of the kids and he felt her move, then another one came over and felt her, then a line formed of kids who wanted to feel the baby move. Sadly, she went back to sleep - but I know have an order I need to call them up to feel if she starts moving and grooving during class ;)
Today I got the comments, "You've got the waddle." (No no I don't, it's called my hips move when I walk. Pretty sure I'll know when the waddle starts.) and "Oh, you look so tired today." (Gee thanks, you looked tired too since it's the first time you've worked three days in a row since before Christmas!). Sometimes people need to think before they talk to a hormonal preggo ;)
