How Far Along: 18 Weeks
Total Weight Gain: 16 lbs
Size of Baby: Bell Pepper
Maternity Clothes?: Yes, maternity leggings are my new BFF! I can still wear my regular tops, although I do wear some maternity ones from time to time even though it's not a necessity.
Sleep: It has been good. I fall sleep early {9:00ish} on the couch almost nightly. After moving up to bed around 11 I usually lay in bed reading until I finally fall sleep around midnight or 1AM. Might be a good idea to not fall asleep on the couch anymore ;)
Food Cravings: Cool Ranch Doritos. And Carbs, give me ALL the carbs!
Food Aversions: Nothing.
Gender: We don't know yet.
Symptoms: Tiredness {although that could be my exhaustion from the Kinders as well}
Milestones: No big milestones that I can think of.
Movement: None that I can feel yet - I keep thinking I feel it, then I let out a little toot and we're good. So I'm mistaking gas for baby - hopefully I'll be able to feel it soon!
Best moment this week: We're focusing on letter B in Kinderworld this week. We were coming up with words that start with the B sound and one of my kinders shared "Belly!" as they stared at mine. All the kiddos are very excited and have told me this week that my belly is "a lot bigger". :)
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender on Dec 13! Hopefully baby decides to show us!
Extra Notes: The kinders are SO interested in this pregnancy which is very fun. They ask me daily when the baby will come - I tried to explain that it will snow and the snow will go away and then baby will be here. Yesterday, we counted how many months until baby will be here and they replied, "That's a long time!" They started telling me this week after lunch that my belly grew and looked bigger to them than in the morning.
Last week we celebrated Thanksgiving with my family. My niece Chloe was going looking at some of the ADs and handing them out to different family members. She looked at me and said, "Are you really having a baby?" When I relied yes she handed me an AD saying, "There's baby stuff inside to look at." Sure enough, I opened the AD and there were cribs, high chairs, etc. It cracked us all up.
During our visit downstate Otis was NOT happy when I was holding a crying Judah. He started barking and jumping all around. Oh pup, your world is about to be rocked!
