Bump: 26 Weeks ...

How Far Along: 26 Weeks

Total Weight Gain: 31.1 pounds

Size of Baby: Kale, butternut squash

Maternity Clothes: Mix of maternity and Lularoe still

Sleep: Better this week!

Food Cravings: Cheese-Its!

Food Aversions: Still healthy stuff still doesn't sound good - but I force it down!

Gender: Girl :)

Symptoms: Having to pee ALL the time! Probably doesn't help that I drink a ton of water throughout the day, but I have to track people down in the hallway to watch my kiddos while I go use the bathroom :)

Milestones: I've officially been pregnant for half a year! Crazy!

Movement: Moving and a grooving at night!

Best moment of the week:  Baby girl's onesie came for when she arrives, no changing her name now! ;) We also ordered the fabric for her bed skirt and window treatments!

Looking forward to: Sleeping in this weekend!  Working three days in a row is hard work! This hasn't happened since before Christmas with all our snow days! Ha!

Extra Notes:
Friday I had my glucose test.  I was pretty worried about the 'orange drink' as I'd heard so many different reactions to it - it being the nastiest thing ever, it not being to bad, etc.  I found it to not be bad at all, it just tasted like an extra sugary orange pop.  And, I never heard from the doctor on Monday which they said no news is good news so that means I passed! Hooray!

My kiddos are all about baby - during rest time on Monday I felt baby girl moving.  I called over one of the kids and he felt her move, then another one came over and felt her, then a line formed of kids who wanted to feel the baby move.  Sadly, she went back to sleep - but I know have an order I need to call them up to feel if she starts moving and grooving during class ;)

Today I got the comments, "You've got the waddle." (No no I don't, it's called my hips move when I walk.  Pretty sure I'll know when the waddle starts.) and "Oh, you look so tired today." (Gee thanks, you looked tired too since it's the first time you've worked three days in a row since before Christmas!).  Sometimes people need to think before they talk to a hormonal preggo ;)

Bump: 25 Weeks ...

How Far Along: 25 Weeks

Total Weight Gain: 29.7 pounds (I didn't go as hard core with the ice cream this week - ha!)

Size of Baby: According to my app a prairie dog, baseball glove, or napa cabbage.

Maternity Clothes: Mix of maternity and Lularoe still

Sleep: More tossing and turning - doesn't help that we have a pup who thinks he needs WAY too much of the bed space, and who has taken a liking to my pregnancy pillow ...

Food Cravings: Ice cream and carbs - always!

Food Aversions: Healthy stuff still doesn't sound good - but I force it down!

Gender: Girl :)

Symptoms: Starting to get tired again ...

Milestones: Apparently she's reached two pounds! And has an even better chance of viability now!

Movement: Not much during the day but when I finally sit down and relax I usually feel her moving and a grooving.

Best moment of the week:  More unexpected snow days -  yesterday and today.  This weather has been crazy with warmer temps melting the snow and rain coming, and then everything freezing over night creating ice rinks on the road! I could get used to these! Used the time to organized some of the clothes we were given from my SIL :)

Looking forward to: Appointment Friday when we'll hear baby girl's heartbeat again.

Extra Notes:  I feel I am in full nesting mode - just ask the husband! We got her room all cleaned out *finally* this week.  I ordered a print off etsy to hang above her crib, ordered her going home outfit with her name on it {no going back now!} and have had some clothing and bows arrive ;)

Bump: 24 Weeks ...

How Far Along: 24 Weeks

Total Weight Gain: 31 pounds - yikes!

Size of Baby: Eggplant

Maternity Clothes: Mix of maternity and Lularoe

Sleep: Still good!

Food Cravings: Crunch Wrap Supreme from Taco Bell - I might have made the hubs get Qdoba to go and then drive across the parking lot to Taco Bell for me ;)

Food Aversions: Healthy stuff still doesn't sound good - but I force it down!

Gender: Girl :)

Symptoms: Some heartburn - bought tums for the first time :) And an itchy very dry stomach!

Milestones: If she was to be born now chances are 50-70% she would survive --- hoping she'll cook for awhile longer but this is happy news!

Movement: Lots!

Best moment of the week:  More unexpected Snow Days! Today and yesterday! :) Time to just be home, relax, and get some things done too!

Looking forward to: Appointment next week when we'll hear baby girls heartbeat again.

Extra Notes:  A funny to remember - a student in another Kindergarten room saw me and asked why my tummy was so big.  I told her there was a baby in there.  She then asked if I swallowed the baby. Ha!  I also have a student who is ALL about trying to feel baby girl kick - every change he has he puts his hand on my tummy and pushes {his mom had a baby this summer} asking where she is.

Today we found out that we got into the daycare we were keeping our fingers crossed about!   I never knew it was SO hard to get into a place, so this was definitely a huge relief to find out already that we are off the list and are IN!

Bump: 23 Weeks ...

How Far Along: 23 Weeks

Total Weight Gain: 28 pounds - the Christmas sweets need to GO! This is the one part of pregnancy that I have struggled the most with.  It is so hard to see the scale go up when I have just worked so hard to have it go down.  I know my body will put on what it needs to grow this healthy baby girl but I still struggle with it daily. I was reminded by my coworkers that I've dropped it before and I will be determined to do that again so I shouldn't fret about it ---- I'm trying my best to not stress about it.

Size of Baby: A bunch of grapes or a Babie Doll {I think my nieces will get a kick out of that one!}

Maternity Clothes: Still wearing some non-maternity tops and dresses {Hello LulaRoe!} but all maternity pants.

Sleep: Still good!

Food Cravings: Lucky Charms are my fav right now!

Food Aversions: Anything healthy - but I force myself to eat the healthy stuff ;)
Gender: Girl :)

Symptoms: A little bit of heartburn this week.

Milestones: According to my baby app - Baby girl has taste buds now!

Movement: Still feeling her move more and more - mostly when laying in bed in the morning and at night.  Addi did get to feel her kick this week and so did Annie when they were visiting :)

Best moment of the week: Getting things for her nursery! We made a trip to IKEA to get a dresser that will be her changing table and a shelving unit.  My MIL and I began figuring out fabric to order for baby girl's bedding/window treatments that she's going to make for us, and my parents bought us a crib!  The hubs took advantage of the snow day today too and built the dresser and crib - feels so much more real now! :)

Looking forward to: Play weekend - this weekend the hubs directs the school play. I'm excited to see it!

Extra Notes:  Going back to work yesterday was EXHAUSTING ... needless to say I was asleep on the couch by 9 :)  So thankful for a snow day today!

Last night I brought up bins of baby girl clothes that my SIL handed down to us.  So fun to go through it all, remember my nieces wearing it and envisioning our little girl in them!
